Stoner rockband Abe Diddy & The Krautboys will be playing again. The band was last seen on a stage at least a year ago. There are three dates yet confirmed: Sunday Februari 14th @ SWAF, Hoorn, saturday March 13th @ Waerdse Tempel, Heerhugowaard and saturday April 10th @ Odeon, Alkmaar.

03-01-2010 WHAT HAPPENED IN 2009?
We've heard a lot of new fresh original music in 2009. And we released a few nice tunes ourselves. Here's an overview.
ManicM has made a remix album based on his 2008 four star album The Wrong Side Of The Fence. Two covers of Tom Waits are also included. The album was named The B-Sides Of The Fence and is still available for free download.
The fourth album by ska punk party band Iedereen Zóôò Jotje finally saw the light of day in 2009. U Brabbelt Wat, Mijnheer? was in the making for almost two years. It was released a free download on the band's website. The album was only on CD available during the exclusive live shows last summer.
U-Lit released also the debut of singer songwriter Harmen Kramer. The title of the album is taken from the First Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians; Korintiërs. This was the first album released by U-Lit on CD and in digital format simultaneously.
Save Us, the album by stoner rock band Abe Diddy & The Krautboys is made available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Napster and Bandcamp. The CD is currently sold out, hence the digital format.
While working with ManicM, Stone E met NYC rapper LoDeck and recorded several tracks together. Stone E also invited singer Iris Kelvisar, guitarist Nelis Hoogers (Abe Diddy & The Krautboys, Sangre, Boycot) and rapper Kain Slim to contribute to the song Heaven's Gate. The end result is an exclusive, unique CD single that was played on Dutch national radio.
Dutch rapper Engel released his 7th album Geen Weg Terug through his own label Engelland. U-Lit provides the digital format in support of this great artist.
The track Kleine Jongen by Engel, Def P, Diggy Dex & jiggy Djé is now available in the iTunes Store. The single is taken from Engel's album 2008 Engelland.
31-10-2009 HEAVEN'S GATE -- OUT NOW!

29-09-2009 U-LIT RELEASES LODECK & KAIN SLIM ON SINGLE
On October 31 st, on Halloween, U-Lit Records will release the hip-hop single Heaven’s Gate by rappers LoDeck & Kain Slim. This exclusive collaboration between the rappers from New York and The Netherlands will be available on CD and on various internet websites, such as iTunes, Napster, Amazon and eMusic. The single features Iris Kelvisar on vocals, ManicM and Nelis Hoogers on guitar and is produced by Stone E. This will be the 18 th release by U-Lit Records.
Stone E said the following about the single in a recent interview:
“It is the most poppy thing I have ever done. And I'm prett sure that goes for anyone involved. When ManicM and I created this track we decided not to use any distortion or noise, like we normally do. The goal was a ‘radio friendly unit shifter’. I can not say if it will shift, but it sure does sound like that.”

26-02-2008 "HANK" MUSIC VIDEO
The release of ManicM’s CD album The Wrong Side Of The Fence is delayed due to some mastering issues. The expected release date is now set for March. For more details on this album, please read the previous news article.
ManicM has created a music video for the track Hank, which features spoken words by the late Charles Bukowski and a guitar solo by A Day’s Work guitarist Maarten Appel. The visuals were taken from the Godfrey Reggio movie Naqoyqatsi. Enjoy.
22-01-2008 MANICM FINISHES ALBUM
We are happy to inform you that ManicM has finished up the tracks of his upcoming album The Wrong Side Of The Fence, to be released mid February. For over four years he has been working on the follow up of his 2003 album SlowMotionAdversity, rearranging and reshaping the tracks, turning a polka into electro clash, bending heartfelt blues into gut-wrenching industrial. Stuff like that.
Unlike its somewhat abstract and unconventional predecessor, The Wrong Side Of The Fence is an album on which ManicM explores his skills as a creator of actual songs, rather than a creator of moods. With lyrics dealing with alcoholism, television, isolation, social life and dreams of popstars, The Wrong Side Of The Fence has become a socially engaged piece of work, without being all too serious about it all the time. Catchy tunes, often influenced by both the blues/folk and the darker electronic genres, have made for a pretty versatile album, featuring collaborations with Monsieur Plastique, Maarten Appel (A Day’s Work), Nelis Hoogers (Abe Diddy & The Krautboys), Bunky B (Iedereen Zóôò Jotje), Gijs Steenbergen (Abe Diddy & The Krautboys), Adoma and Stosil.
Since ManicM wants to devote his creativity to writing, The Wrong Side Of The Fence will most likely be his last album, smaller side projects and remixes aside. ‘Doing Time’ is the first and only CD single off of ManicM’s second CD album, ‘The Wrong Side of the Fence’ (due February 2008). It is a both catchy and noisy electro pop tune, or whatever the hell they call it these days when you play guitar on a dance track. ManicM claims the inspiration for the song came from both Johnny Marr and Q Lazzarus. (Use that information in any way you want.)
Vocals on the song are performed by electro darling extraordinaire Monsieur Plastique, who, while working on his debut album for U-Lit Records, was eager to contribute to ManicM’s CD.
The end result of their collaboration was very well received in local clubs and by the public – that’s when the idea came to release it as a single.

30-11-2007 IZJ DONE IN STUDIO
It's done. Over. Finished. At last...
Iedereen Zóôò Jotje has recorded the last tracks for the new CD. The title is "U Brabbelt Wat, Mijnheer?" and will be filled up with 8 new songs.
The CD is recorded and will be mixed by the bands favorite sound engineer Gijs Steenbergen of Dare To Do Studio. We are patiently waiting for the end result.
When the CD will be available is still unkown, so don't hold your breath. When we know, you know. That's a great slogan.
12-10-2007 DOING TIME IN NOVEMBER
The single 'Doing Time' by ManicM featuring Monsieur Plastique will be released in November. It will be a very, very limited edition. The single will also contain a remix by 7th Rest and a version by the dynamic duo Gijsbrecht & IJsbrand.
The single will be available through Clear Spot's mail-order ShinyBeast.nl. However, to keep the price as low as possible we will give you the opportunity to purchase 'Doing Time' directly via a special e-mail address for the first month of its release. More about this when the single hits the streets!
This unique collaboration between ManicM and Monsieur Plastique is taken from the forthcoming album ‘The Wrong Side Of The Fence’ by ManicM. Expected release date for this album is February 2008. We’ll have more info about this album very soon.
Monsieur Plastique is currently working on his official debut. When the album is finished, is still unknown.
25-09-2007 IZJ ALBUM DELAYED
The new CD "U Brabbelt Wat, Mijnheer?" by Iedereen Zóôò Jotje will not make its estimated release date in November. Unfortunatly, the band needs additional studio time to finish their recordings.
A new date for the release is currently unkown.
We do have titles of the tracks that will appear on the album: Geniaal Gefeest, Stöner Kebab, Ek Mot Lenks (part deux), Notas Y Bahías, Zeven Bier, Jotje Sailor, Red Neck, Zomer.
Special guest appearances will be made by Maestro Mikel and Mr.Irie.
30-08-2007 MANICM STILL RECORDING
Lately, ManicM has been productive; he has worked intensively on "The Wrong Side of the Fence", the follow-up to his 2003 debut 'SlowMotionAdversity'.
The CD album will probably still make a 2007 release, since the majority of the tracks is as good as finished, some finetuning aside. A few vocals are yet to be recorded, but M says he might be in the mood for those very soon.
The Wrong Side Of The Fence will feature 13 guitar-oriented tracks, exploring multiple musical fields such as blues, folk, electro, industrial and spoken word.
Also contributing to his album are A Day's Work guitarist Maarten Appel, electro-darling Monsieur Plastique, American poet/painter Michael Cano and even the late Charles Bukowski.

Monsieur Plastique is currently working on his debut album. No title has yet been confirmed, but we are sure that it will be something sweet. The CD will be produced by Monsieur Plastique and Stone E.

16-06-2007 IZJ RECORDS NEW ALBUM
Iedereen Zóôò Jotje is recording their fourth (and final) album. Eight brand new songs, with special guests Maestro Mikel, Jotje Joker and Mr. Stips, will appear on the CD, titled: "U Brabbelt Wat, Mijnheer?".
The CD will contain some skapunk-flavoured tunes, garnished with a mild hiphop groove and spiced up with some metal dressing.
We expect the release somewhere around November 2007.
